Spiritual Grounding for Racial Justice, Nov. 25, 2019

Spiritual Grounding for Racial Justice will meet Monday, November 25, 6:30-8:00 pm at the Red Cedar Friends Meeting House, 1400 Turner St., Lansing. We will view the dvd by Paula Palmer “Quaker Indian Boarding Schools: Facing Our History and Ourselves.”

Paula spoke at the 2018 FGC Gathering in Toledo. She is a member of Boulder Friends Meeting and has been researching Quaker-run Native American boarding schools for several years. She is joined in the video by Jerilyn Coteau who is Native American and part of the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition.

Come join us in exploring what Quakers can do to acknowledge the harm that has been done and what can be done to help with healing.
